The Challenge:

A large utility wanted to fortify and expand its Board Service Program beyond senior executives to include all employees. Yes, please!

The Solution:

Create Impact designed a tiered process, employee survey, and education program for Board Service for the utility. To start, we mapped the existing placements to the larger community investment strategy, identifying potential opportunities and areas for improvement. CI also engaged internal stakeholders around program development and created eligibility criteria to assess potential partners. To make the program run efficiently and effectively, we built an interface with feedback loops for program optimization and reporting as well as a communications strategy and corresponding assets. In the boring but very important category, our team redesigned the training program for Board Service and implemented automatic notifications for annual reporting to comply with regulatory requirements. Finally, we trained administrators on the new process, site maintenance and how to maintain the resource libraries. By housing the whole process in one platform, Create Impact improved employee experience, data collection, and reportability for our partner.
